Candace Ho is a Taiwanese American filmmaker based in Los Angeles. She received her BA with Honors from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television with a concentration in narrative directing. Her work explores mental health, womanhood, coming of age, and navigating the gray areas of life and identity through a surrealist lens.
She was a participant of the 2023 Indeed/Hillman Grad Rising Voices program, a 2021 Armed with a Camera fellow, and a 2021 DB Frieze LA Fellow. Her short films have screened at festivals across the country, including Tribeca Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, and more.
Candace is currently a 2025 Sundance Institute x TAAF scholar, where she is developing her feature PIXEL AFFECTION.
